Yacht Rock Revue at Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park
Yacht Rock Revue brings the polished soft-rock sound of the 1970s and 1980s to Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in Atlanta in 2007, the band grew from a local cover performance into a national touring act known for faithful, high-energy renditions of yacht rock favorites. Its shows pair familiar melodies and audience sing-alongs with period-inspired outfits and a playful stage presence.
The setlist can include songs such as “What a Fool Believes,” “Sailing,” “Ride Like the Wind,” “Africa” and “Footloose,” with selections rotating from night to night. While covers are central to the live show, the group also released its first album of original material, Hot Dads in Tight Jeans, in 2020. The supplied event listing records Yacht Rock Revue at Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park on August 26, 2023. The band has also played the Chastain Park amphitheater as part of its Atlanta-area history, including a reported sold-out Yacht Rock Revival there in 2018.
